Final Year Project

Project Title

A Story of Color

Description

Our research project analyzes colorism in the South Asian context with reference to women. It explores the economic, social and emotional effects of color bias on these women. It explores trauma through an interactive board game that indulges players in a never ending cycle of bullying to make them empathize with a life time of being treated differently on the sole basis of their skin color. The goal is to create empathy within an apathetic crowd by creating artefacts that represent the problem at hand in sonic, visual, and interactive forms in a way that leaves a rather haunting effect on the audience.
